Role: To produce detailed cad drawings and cam programmes using Radan & AutoCAD for shop floor manufacture including the nesting of parts. To liaise with the product manager and draughtsman helping with technical issues. To ensure sheet metal utilisation is controlled efficiently. To give technical support to the shop floor. Additional to my Role I would also provide product and machine training to new employees.

CNC Machinist 1990 – 1999

Role: To operate and maintain the machines working to planned schedules whilst also ensuring parts are manufactured to specification and quality. CNC machines worked on: Trumpf Trumatic180 Punch, AFM Guillotine, Edwards Pearson Press Brake, AFM Press Brake, Hammerle 3-Point Press Brake, Pullmax 7000 Punch including automated load-unload and a Salvagnini p4 unmanned bending cell.
